What is it?
The DADS of DESTINY Small-Group Program is a NEW intensive small group study program designed to strengthen families by encouraging and equipping men in the "how to's" of effective fathering. Based on over 10 years of National Center for Fathering research and training experience, the DADS of DESTINY program is simply the best systematic approach to transforming families by transforming fathers.

What do fathers do in a DADS of DESTINY course?

Participants take the National Center for Fathering's 138 question Personal Fathering Profile. This computer-scored interactive assessment tool helps men understand both their fathering strengths and weaknesses and provides a reference point to set goals for improvement. Then they learn how to transform their weak areas into strengths.

The course includes required reading on fatherhood topics and regular homework. This homework includes interaction and activities with family members as well as Bible study and written responses to questions. Participants memorize highly relevant Scripture passages every week. They are also strongly encouraged to pray for every member of their family and every member of their small group each day. At times, participants are challenged to fast on behalf of their families.

The supportive small group environment is designed to hold members accountable for learning and doing. Each course is very thorough, detailed, tough, and takes effort to complete.
