![]() It's time to climb. And Hope, we just took some big steps toward the summit. After Pastor Steve's “Yes or No” challenge, 46 more Hopester families decided to “rope in” and help move us closer to the Exp. Hope goals. Those 46 families added $177,506 in pledged support, which raises our “Pledged Funds” total to $1,820,132. As of June 1, 2010, we have brought in $1,214,088 for EH. This has been collected over the course of two years. The original EH 3-year giving period began on June 1, 2008. So, as you can see most of the families who pledged support two years ago are being faithful in meeting their pledges. Now it's time to pray for God to produce a miracle. Even with the $1.8 million that has been pledged, EH is still more than $1 million short of its goals. So please pray that God would “open the eyes” of the right people who can help us finish the climb. And if you believe the goals of EH will truly serve God’s Kingdom in a mighty way, yet are not “roped in” to support this effort ... then take that first step of obedience and pray. Ask God to reveal how you should be involved. Ask for His inspiration. We need everyone who believes in Hope and its goals to join the trek. To join in and help bring the EH vision closer to reality, simply fill out one of the "Yes or No” pledge cards available in the Worship Center. Or just contact the church office! If you are not familiar with Exp. Hope and its goals, you can learn all about it by either picking up an information packet at the church office, or speaking with a member of the Hope Leadership Team. Hope Totals (as of June 1, 2010): Exodus 25:1-2, 8 tells us: The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from each man whose heart prompts him to give. ... Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” |
